Men's Tennis Drops First Match of Spring Season vs. Campbellsville

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas more men's tennis team opened its spring season against future NAIA competitor, Campbellsville, falling 9-0. The Saints move to 4-2 overall, as they ended the fall season 4-1. 

• This marked the first match of the spring season for the Saints.
• Campbellsville is a future NAIA opponent. 

• Duos Jared Haught and Jeffrey Schenk, and Alex Traylor and Wesley Smith both dropped their doubles matches 8-3 against their Campbellsville opponents. 
• Doubles pair Derrick Kwok and Ethan Caruso dropped their doubles match 9-7. 

• D. Kwok battled back-and-forth with his singles competitor but fell short 6-3, 6-2. 
• Schenk dropped his singles match, 6-1, 6-1. 
• Caruso went 6-0, 6-3 in his singles match. 
• Haught and Jaret Fidler each of their singles matches in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. 
• Joseph Cruse fell to his singles opponent 6-1, 6-0.

• The Saints take on Asbury on Feb. 2 at Five Seasons Sports Club.
