(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) – The Thomas More College men's tennis fell, 8-1, to Drew University today (Thursday, March 9, 2017) at the Evian Tennis Complex in the Shipyard Plantation in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
With the loss, the Saints fall to 2-4 and with the win, the Rangers improve to 6-1.
In doubles action the No. 3 tandem of first-years Sheldon Preisler (San Diego, Calif./Boone County (Ky.)) and Cameron Shi (China/Scott (Ky.)) won their match 9-7.
Sophomore Michael Kelly (Wyoming, Ohio/Wyoming) battled at No. 6 singles, but fell 6-2, 6-1.
Thomas More is idle until March 18 when it hosts Waynesburg University in its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener at 4:30 p.m. indoors at the Five Season Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
