(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More College men's tennis team fell, 9-0, to NCAA Division I member Northern Kentucky University tonight (Friday, February 24, 2017) indoors at the Five Season Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
With the loss, the Saints fall to 1-1 and with the win, the Norse improve to 4-2.
In singles play, first-year Sheldon Preisler (San Diego, Calif./Boone County (Ky.)) battled at No. 3 before falling 6-0, 6-2.
In doubles action, the No. 1 tandem of sophomore Derrick Kwok (Sugar Land, Texas/Stephen F. Austin) and first-year Michael Kenney (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) battled and fell 6-2.
Thomas More returns to action on March 5 when it plays Roanoke College in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
