(NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.) - Thomas More College senior Andrew Hetzer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week by the Conference office.
Hetzer was a perfect 10-0 overall (5-0 at first singles, 5-0 at first doubles with freshman Eric Thompson) last week as Thomas More went 1-4 on a three-day, five match PAC road trip. He won his five singles matches by a combined 61-18 and 40-12 in his five doubles contests.
Hetzer and the Saints return to action today (Tuesday, April 17, 2012) when they host Oakland City University at 4 p.m. at Western Hills Racquet Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
