Annabel Clayton, Women's Cross Country

Thomas More University first-year Annabel Clayton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) helped lead the Saints to a seventh-place finish at the Mid-South Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  She was named Mid-South Freshman of the Year and first team All-Mid-South as she finished fourth overall with a time of 19:06.  With our fourth-place finish, Clayton qualified for the 40th Annual NAIA National Championship and is the first-ever Thomas More women’s cross country student-athlete to qualify for a national championship.  Clayton will run in the NAIA Championship on November 22 at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington.
