Five Women's Soccer Players Named All-ACAA; Kim Named GK of the Year

(CRESTVEIW HILLS, Ky.) – The ACAA announced the All-ACAA Conference team today, November 5, 2018. The 6-12-2 Thomas More University women's soccer had five players named All-ACAA, including Maddy Kim, Olivia Nienaber, Abby Hutcheson, Kaylee Terrell, and Morgan Beare.  

Kim, a junior goalkeeper from California, Ky. and Notre Dame Academy was named ACAA Goalkeeper of the Year and First-Team All-ACAA. Kim has played in 17 games this season, starting 16 of them. She has recorded 85 saves, allowed 26 goals, and finished the season 5-10-2 in the goal.

Nienaber, a junior from Alexandria, Ky. and Bishop Brossart High School was named to the First-Team All-ACAA. Nienaber has played and started in all 20 games this season. She has recorded five goals off 46 shots, along with one assist.

Hutcheson, a sophomore from Zanesville, Ohio and Rosecrans High School was named to the First-Team All-ACAA. Hutcheson has played in all 20 games this season, starting 17 of them. She has recorded one goal as a defender, along with 14 shots, and one assist. She helped the Saints defense record four shutouts this season.

Terrell, a first-year from Warsaw, Ky. and Gallatin County High School was also named to the First-Team All-ACAA. Terrell has played in 20 games this season, starting in 17 of them. She recorded one goal from 10 shots, along with one assist.

Beare, a sophomore from Cincinnati, Ohio and Oak Hills High School was named to the Second-Team All-ACAA. Beare has started and played in all 20 games this season. She has recorded seven shots and helped the Saints put up four shutouts.
