Men's Volleyball Falls to Fontbonne in Day One of Purple Raider Rumble

(ALLIANCE, Ohio) - The Thomas More men's volleyball team took on Fontbonne today in day one of the Mount Union Purple Raider Rumple. The Saints fell to the Griffins 3-0 falling to 1-10 on the season. 

  • The Saints fell to Fontbonne by scores of 25-16, 25-28, 25-19. 
  • Robby Cox and Nick Richard shared the team-high with six kills each. Cox also recorded two assists and four digs while Richard also recorded one assist and five digs. 
  • Tanner Miller led the team with 11 assists, along with one kill, four digs, and three blocks. 
  • Andy Geigle recorded five kills, along with one service ace, a team-high six digs, and one block.
  • Jakob Jones led the team with a .500 hitting percentage, recording two kills, one assist, one service ace, one dig, and one block. 
  • Ryan Hans recorded five digs in the game. 

  • The Saints take on Penn St. Altoona, Thiel, and Trine tomorrow as they finish the Purple Raider Rumble.
